Who We Are and What We Do

Hi there, I’m Ruth - the creative force behind Allafollia. For the past twenty years or so I have been lucky enough to live and work in the Ascoli Piceno province of Le Marche. If you've read the rest of the site you will have understood that I'm very passionate about this part of the world. My husband and I bought a holiday home here and loved it so much that six months later we upped sticks and moved lock stock. We haven't looked back once. It didn’t take long for me to realise that this is the ideal wedding location, but wedding planner was such a far cry from my previous career as a university lecturer that it took a lot of persausion from my friends to convince me that I was up to the task. It turns out they were right, and I found my true calling. I look after all the design and planning, so you deal with me from start to finish. I’m your fairy godmother. I’ll guide you through the whole process, keep things on track, and make sure everything comes together exactly as it should. I’m also the go-to for your guests — whether it’s travel, logistics, or last-minute questions, I’ve got it covered.

Part of my strength is my ability to bridge two very different worlds. A natural linguist, my fluency and people skills mean I have access to the personal networks which are key to how things operate here. Over the years I’ve built a strong understanding of how things work locally, who to trust, and how to bring everything together so it feels effortless on your side. It’s that mix of experience, local knowledge, attention to detail, and clear communication that allows Allafollia to consistently deliver the goods.
